Because good things take tyme
We are passionate about slow fashion and we took a lot of time to master textile engineering - weaving in particular - to optimal product design and finally establishing fine craftsmanship. Every accessory was passionately developed in myriads of iterations to create a product for lifelong memories. We want to be proud of our creation and be a little part of your precious chapter in life.
Because tyme is precious
All we really have in this world is tyme. Everything else is borrowed. It is tyme that you fill with valuable experiences like those miraculous moments with your baby. Being part of their growth and later witnessing their first steps, first friendships, first firsts is a pure blessing. But you can only immerse in those precious moments when you are fully present in tyme.
If you are in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost all newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered around the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled, will disappear all too soon and that you will, to your surprise, miss them profoundly
Behind the scenes
Made by tyme is a Germany-based company with an international team spread around the globe focusing on slow fashion, high-end product mastery and grace.
Our founder Valeria created made by tyme in order to gain self-empowerment after a life-changing and shattering stroke of fate.
She is a passionate mother, a former war refugee, a health-economist, statistical modeler, pharmaceutical market specialist, pricing analyst, coder, website creator, product designer, photographer & videographer, family travel blogger, serial entrepreneur, hobby philosopher, cross-fitter, alpinist (Mont Blanc solo 2023) and more.
As a health economist she was awarded with the German Award for Innovation in Patients’ Health Care 2012 (awarded by the dfg).
When her first daughter was just 6 weeks old she started full-time travelling with her family. While carrying her daughter for hours every day through countless countries for over a year, she was unsatisfied with those baby carriers. 2 weeks after giving birth to her second daughter she decided to also give birth to a new project: a baby carrier company.
As an autodidact she taught herself product design, developed an innovative construction combined with innovative materials and won the German Design Award 2020 for her creation.
With made by tyme she intended to also satisfy the needs of parents seeking a product with high-end materials and accessories, creating the most high-class baby carrier aiming for graceful product mastery.
